Feedly B2B transformation
From a feature factory to a simple & unified product
Problem
A clustered product with too many features, concepts, navigation principles that created extra demo time before being autonomous.
Context
Feedly began as a simple news reader with +25 million users worldwide. In 2019 it focused toward building a cyber-security and B2B product. When Micka joined it looked like an aggregate of features in a clustered product.
Solution
A refactoring of Feedly's core functionalities while redesigning components for a more compact interface. Moving away from a News Reader to building an AI-driven threat intelligence platform.
Result
The result is a product experience ready for more advanced workflows and a vibrant brand refresh—without losing the recognition that made Feedly stand out.
Role
Lead multiple core projects end-to-end from research to launch including full product & brand refresh, evolving the experience to support enterprise workflows, and advanced features. Managed a design team of 3 Staff Product Designers remotely and multiple Engineers. Brand: Anagram
